Cool Off On A Hot Summer Day At Norm's Soda Fountain In Montana
Is there anything more wonderful than stumbling across an old-fashioned soda fountain on a warm summer day and ordering a delicious dessert to cool off? Whether you’re old enough to remember when soda fountains were the norm or young enough that they feel brand new, there’s no denying that these iconic establishments are true treasures.
Montana has several soda fountains ready to serve you, but only one in the Flathead Valley. And Norm’s Soda Fountain serves so much more than ice cream.

For those who visit the Flathead Valley regularly, a stop at Norm's is a favorite tradition. The soda fountain resides in John McIntosh's Opera House Square, which was constructed in 1896.

The bar is magnificent and the wooden ladies, made from Mediterranean Cypress, were carved in Italy in 1880.

Here, it's imperative to eat dessert first.

You can even create your own ice cream sundaes, and the list of flavors and toppings is quite impressive.

The burgers and sandwiches are fantastic, and they even serve hearty breakfasts each morning.

The shakes and malts here come in two sizes (and we always recommend the large).

They even have a large selection of mouthwatering fudge that is made in-house.
