It may be a mere 16 miles from Montana’s largest city, Billings, but Acton, Montana, is as tiny of a town as it gets. Less than 200 people call Acton home, and there really aren’t many amenities to speak of.

However, Acton is the home of one of Montana’s best hidden gems, 3 North Bar & Grill. This unpretentious eatery just happens to serve some of the best steaks you’ll ever be lucky enough to try.

While it's impossible to miss if you're driving down the highway, this part of Highway 3 isn't exactly well-traveled.
Believe it or not, this place was originally the town post office. Then, it spent some time as Acton Bar.

That bar stayed open for an impressive 50 years. Eventually, it reopened in 2015 as 3 North Bar & Grill.
Steak isn't the only thing on the menu here, but it's certainly the main attraction.
