As local travel experts, we know what travelers are looking for when it comes to finding the perfect accommodations for their next trip. To compile our lists, we scour the internet to find properties with excellent ratings and reviews, desirable amenities, nearby attractions, and that something special that makes a destination worthy of traveling for.
Life in Montana is quite good. After all, it’s called the Last Best Place for a reason. That being said, everyone needs a change of scenery now and then, even when our everyday scenery is wonderful. And if you need a break from reality before our infamous winter weather really hits, look no further than the Ninepipes Lodge in the tiny community of Charlo.
The Ninepipes Lodge is a hotel, restaurant, and lounge all in one that sits surrounded by the Ninepipe Wildlife Management Area.
The property is close to Flathead Lake and is less than 90 miles away from Glacier National Park, but you won't even need to leave the property to have a perfect vacation.
The lodge is located on Highway 93 at the Ninepipes Reservoir, so it's easy to find.
The menu consists of classic American cuisine with a focus on steaks, salads, pasta, and seafood. When you're done with dinner, enjoy a nightcap at the spacious, newly remodeled Allentown Bar.
The Ninepipes Lodge is a little hidden gem every Montanan should experience.
