Hike Less Than Half A Mile To This Spectacular Waterfall Picnic Area In Montana
Montana has some pretty impressive waterfall hikes, but many of them require a lot of time or effort to complete, and if you’re running low on energy or you’re hiking with little ones, they may not sound very appealing.
The Natural Bridge Falls day-use area is a wonderful place to spend an afternoon, taking in the stunning scenery and enjoying a picnic with the family. Best of all, this entire trek is only about 0.7 miles out and back.

And no matter which route you take, the road to reach it will have some impressive views.

Unfortunately, the natural bridge collapsed (due to limestone’s easy erodability) in 1988. However, there's still plenty to see here.

This may be a short walk, but you'll definitely feel close to nature.

The day-use area is open all year, but sometimes treacherous weather forces a closure. It's best to go in the summertime if possible.

There are plenty of paved paths and picnic tables for you to make yourself at home.
