There are plenty of places to stay near Glacier National Park in Montana, but have you considered a glamping trip atop a giant Douglas Fir tree? The Meadowlark Treehouse at Montana Treehouse Retreat is a perfect location for a quiet glamping trip, honeymoon, or splurge vacation in Montana’s Glacier region.
There’s 500 square feet of living space in this luxurious treehouse, and it’s gorgeous any time of year. The retreat is set on five acres of forest.
One of the best things about this treehouse is the location just outside Glacier National Park. Lake McDonald within the park is only 30 minutes away. Whitefish Mountain Ski Resort is only a few minutes’ drive, and the towns of Whitefish and Columbia Falls are five minutes away.
A second treehouse, the A-frame Raven’s Nest, is located close by on the property. Both treehouses have their decks and seating areas facing in opposite directions for optimum privacy.
Don’t worry about roughing it here. The treehouse comes with air conditioning, heat, and Wi-fi. Families traveling here will find a pack n’ play, safety gates, and some toys, though do keep the spiral staircases in mind.
Reviews for Meadowlark Treehouse are very positive. Previous guests rave about the attentiveness of the host and the magic of the luxury treehouse experience.
