And that’s when we head to one of our classic spots, like Lolo Creek Steakhouse. Located in the Bitterroot Mountains just below Lolo Peak, this charming restaurant never disappoints.

The Lolo Creek Steakhouse is located right on US Highway 12 West, where it has been since 1987.

Many a rancher, hiker, local, tourist, hunter, artist, and even a celebrity or two have passed through their doors.
This delightful eatery is owned by the Grunow family, whose history in the area spans nearly four decades.

Mike and Judy Grunow have owned several other Lolo businesses in addition to this one, and all three of their adult children have helped operate it.
Step inside this cozy, old-fashioned dining room and you'll instantly feel like part of the family.

Of course, we go to restaurants mainly for the food — and rest assured, the cuisine here is fantastic.
