If your idea of a good time involves climbing into a deep cave, you’ve probably checked out Lewis & Clark Caverns State Park. And while that cavern is Montana’s only “tourist cave,” the Treasure State has a few hidden gems that are worth exploring, if you’re experienced enough. One is the longest cave in the state, Tears of the Turtle.
It’s worth noting again that you should ONLY attempt to explore this cave if you’re experienced and have the proper equipment and training. Entering any cave is dangerous and should be done at your own risk.
