To live in Montana is to appreciate nature. Our vast state is full of natural wonders, from majestic mountain ranges to deep caverns. Our lakes are also legendary, in fact, there’s one county that has a whopping 80 of them. Naturally, that would be Lake County, and it’s magnificent.

Lake County is located in the northwest part of the state, and practically every Montanan has at least passed through.

After all, it is home to the iconic Flathead Lake. And for many, it's a gateway to Glacier National Park.
There are about 29,000 people living in the county, with Polson holding the county seat.

Other notable spots are Ronan, Woods Bay, and St. Ignatius.
