Enjoy A True Taste Of Home Cooking at Mac's Tavern In Montana
There’s certainly no shortage of great places to grab a bite to eat in Butte. Montana’s most notorious mining town is full of old and new eateries alike, but there’s a special place in the locals’ hearts for Mac’s Tavern. This family-owned Irish tavern is fairly new, but it’s already a local hot spot, and not just on St. Patrick’s Day (although that’s a pretty fantastic time to visit).

Luckily, things went smoothly, and the rest is history.

The family spent four years renovating the two-story building, which dates back to the late 1800s.

It's also kid-friendly, so the whole family can enjoy the fun.

From Irish classics like Shepard's Pie to the addictive Mac's and Cheese, you'll find whatever you're craving here. Just make sure you ask about the weekly specials. They're divine.

You won't find a more authentic home-cooked meal outside of your family's dinner table. The Tapas Menu is especially popular for those who want to sample a variety of eats.

Thursday nights are Open Mic nights, Fridays are live music nights, and Trivia Mondays are always a blast.

They're open daily from 11 a.m. until 2 a.m., except for Sundays, when they open at noon.
