But while the hotel itself is quite old, the space inside feels modern and inviting — and the on-site Irish pub is fantastic.

The beautiful brick structure is impossible to miss.
The hotel first opened in 1890 after being built by Robert Vaughn, a Welsh Immigrant and the original "Celtic Cowboy."

Vaughn originally intended for it to be a livery stable, a freight transfer station, Teamster boarding house, and vegetable and fruit market, all under one roof. The Arvon Block was successful for many years. But in 2010, this building was vacant and in despair, until it was purchased by the Jennings family and converted into the boutique hotel it is today.
Step inside the lobby and check out the 200-year-old front desk, which is home to a full coffee bar.
