This Historic Drive-In Theater In Montana Will Take You Back In Time
Drive-in theaters are slowly becoming a thing of the past, which is unfortunate. Luckily, we’ve still got a few of them here in the Last Best Place. When you’re feeling nostalgic on a warm, summer evening, hop in the car and head to Silver Bow Drive-In in Butte.

The Hansen Family opened it in 1977 with a single screen, and the same family still owns it today.

The place now has the capacity for about 500 vehicles.

The cost to see a movie here is $6 per adult ($4 for children). Bring cash for your admission and snacks -- this place is cash only, just like it used to be.

There are no outside speakers here, so if you want to sit outside, don't forget to bring a portable radio.
Feeling nostalgic? When the drive-in opens, you can see what’s playing on the website. And if you can’t make it to this theater this summer, try an old-fashioned snack at one of these roadside burger stands.
