Savor Freshly Baked Pastries As You Shop At Noxon Mercantile & Cafe In Montana
There’s not much to the tiny (and we do mean tiny) town of Noxon. With a population of just 218, it’s safe to say it’s a quiet, sleepy place. However, if you’ve passed through since last spring, you may have noticed that there’s a new business in town — and we’re happy to say that it’s well worth a stop. Noxon Mercantile & Cafe might be new, but it absolutely radiates old school charm and good old-fashioned service.

The owners, Amy and Chris, took their time with the concept to ensure that this would be a place travelers and locals would love to visit.

The cafe is open Wednesday Saturday from noon until 7 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. It serves specialty burgers, fish & chips, grab-and-go sandwiches, and the delectable Cowboy Bowl, a blend of layered beans, pulled pork, coleslaw, and mac & cheese. And yes, those are hand-cut fries next to the burger in this photo.
