It's Almost Time For Another Amazing Lineup At Fort Peck Summer Theatre In Montana
It’s safe to say it’s been a pretty strange year in Montana, and summer still looks like a giant question mark. But for those who consider taking in a show at Fort Peck Summer Theatre an annual tradition, we have good news: the theatre staff has decided to proceed with most of its summer lineup this year, although there will certainly be adjustments made for everyone’s safety (a late start, extra sanitizing efforts, etc.) – and wait until you see the fantastic schedule.

The 1960s were a time of change for Fort Peck, with a lot of local buildings being demolished. However, the locals decided to put every effort into saving this theatre, which had become a beloved icon.

It's a point of pride in the community.

Many a performer and staff member have heard strange sounds in the dressing rooms. Some have even seen apparitions and heard the distinct sounds of men working when the venue is empty.

The most common apparition spotted here is one of a man wearing 1930s work clothes that is believed to be the spirit of a man who died during the building's construction in 1934.

Shows will include The Sunshine Boys, Working, Love Letters, Wait Until Dark, and God Help Us, starring none other than Ed Asner.

With any luck, we'll all be gathering here for many years to come.
