Every summer, thousands of Montanans and out-of-state visitors flock to Flathead Lake and the surrounding towns. While the area makes a fantastic year-round destination, it certainly shines its brightest in the summertime. And coincidentally, that’s when you can sink your teeth into a juicy burger at Burgertown Dairy Freeze in Bigfork.

Burgertown originally opened in 1970, a project of Lonny Hanson when he was just 26 years old.
