Of course, Double Barrel's history goes back much farther, which you'll probably remember if you grew up in Great Falls. The cafe was open, closed for a while, then reopened and rebranded at this old Pickle Barrel building.
Inside, the cafe is cozy and comfortable, which is exactly the way the owners like it.

The team wants this to be a community gathering space and a favorite local hangout. The tasty food is just a bonus.
The food is pretty fantastic, though, especially if you're a fan of the menu's unique sweet biscuits (which are scone-like in nature, but with a more biscuit-like texture).
