In the summertime, this place hosts fossil expeditions, offering you the chance to dig for fossils. These guided digs fill up quickly, so you'll want to plan in advance. But even if you skip the digging, you can check out the on-site museum.
Of course, this road trip could never be completed without a trip to the Museum of the Rockies in Bozeman.
