This Delicious Restaurant In Montana On A Rural Country Road Is A Hidden Culinary Gem
It isn’t hard to find an amazing rural restaurant in Montana. Some of the state’s most popular eateries, like the Grizzly Bar and the Jersey Lilly, are extremely remote. The 3 North Bar and Grill is located just 16 miles from Montana’s biggest city, but it has the kind of small-town charm Montanans love — and thanks to some recent renovations, everything looks shiny and new.

The building was originally the town post office, eventually becoming a bar that stayed open for 50 years. After the bar closed down for awhile, it was purchased by a mother and daughter team and renovated in 2015, doubling in size.

The new owners have done a great job with the place, and it's now a favorite local hangout (and a favorite for the people of Billings as well).

Burgers, steaks, chicken, and pub food are served daily, and there's always a special or two as well.

Although the ambiance is casual, the menu is much more sophisticated now, and it's great for a date night.

The room is free to reserve and you'll have access to the full mouthwatering menu.

Billings has become more of a foodie-friendly city in recent years, with restaurants like Lilac, Local Kitchen & Bar and Uberbrew serving excellent food. But even with the close competition, this place is unique and often draws a crowd.
Have you been to this outstanding eatery? It’s definitely one of Montana’s most underrated restaurants.
