Montana has welcomed quite a few new restaurants in recent years, especially in our larger cities. And while it’s always fun to try something new, sometimes you just need a good old-fashioned meal from a tried-and-true eatery that has been around for decades. The Corral Bar has been serving sizzling steaks to hungry Montanans since 1947, many of whom choose to rest at the on-site motel afterward. If you’ve never been to this old school spot, give it a try the next time you’re in Gallatin County.
The Corral Bar, Steakhouse & Motel is in the heart of The Gallatin Canyon, just 20 miles north of Yellowstone National Park and five miles south of Big Sky.
It still holds that title, but it also serves as a place for locals to gather for food, drinks, conversation, and entertainment.

The bar is located near many outdoor recreation areas, so you'll often see hungry hikers, skiers, snowmobilers, and hunters fueling up here after a long day.

Since The Corral is mainly known as a steakhouse, ordering something from the grill here is a must.

If you're not in the mood for a steak, you'll have plenty of other tasty options. to choose from.
Because, honestly, it's impossible to have too many favorite restaurants!
