As local travel experts, we know what travelers are looking for when it comes to finding the perfect accommodations for their next trip. To compile our lists, we scour the internet to find properties with excellent ratings and reviews, desirable amenities, nearby attractions, and that something special that makes a destination worthy of traveling for.
Recent events have taught us many things, one of which being that Montana is the best possible place to quarantine. While hopping a flight to a tropical location or touring a foreign country is always fantastic, nothing beats sticking around the Last Best Place and exploring our own backyard. If it’s been a while since you’ve spent time by our majestic Flathead Lake, we found the perfect “home base” for doing just that — a unique, hand-crafted log cabin near the lakeshore.
Located in Somers, this one-of-a-kind cabin was built by an architect from an antique barn structure and a hand-crafted log cabin.
The kitchen has all the modern appliances and cookware you'll need to prepare your meals, although you won't be far from gems like the Somers Bay Cafe and Tamarack Brewing Company.
The cabin has two bedrooms, both with queen-sized beds.
Not only are the views incredible (especially the lake view), but the BBQ and lounge chairs are perfect for enjoying a warm summer evening.
Studies have shown that people who take regular vacations have lower stress levels and more motivation upon their return. So do yourself a favor and book your next getaway here.
