It Isn't Christmas Until You've Visited Montana's Candy Cane Lane
Christmas is right around the corner, and Montanans have been celebrating the holiday season in style. But one of our state’s greatest events is yet to come: Candy Cane Lane, an annual tradition that has become one of Great Falls’ most iconic events. If you live near the Electric City, this is the perfect way to kick off your weekend.

Nikki wanted to continue a childhood tradition of going out with her family to find the best Christmas lights in town.

To kick things off, everyone meets at Skyline Optimist Park at 513 33rd Ave. N.E., where they are welcomed with cocoa, treats, and a map to follow.

This year, commemorative ornaments will be sold for $5.

Every year, Great Falls residents can submit their homes to be featured on the trail. First, second and third place prizes are awarded for the most festive homes.

Meet at Jaycee Park between 7 and 9 p.m. for your map and Santa meeting.
