Located in Lewistown, the Calvert Hotel is a charming boutique hotel with an interesting past and a bright future. There’s only one problem with this place: it’s practically impossible to leave.

In our opinion, Lewistown is a wildly underrated part of Montana.

Surrounded by three mountain ranges with plenty of amenities and attractions like the Charles M. Russell Wildlife Refuge, it's a perfect spot for a weekend getaway.
The Calvert Hotel was constructed in 1917, when it served as a dormitory for ranch children to stay in when they came to town for the school week.

In 1929, it was converted into a hotel.
While the building has been fully renovated since its century-old beginnings, it still has a lot of historic charm.
