The lake's hard to reach destination makes it one of the park's lesser visited areas, which is part of its appeal for many.

It's accessible from several different routes, the most common being by an unpaved road from the small town of Polebridge.
Stock up on tasty provisions at the Polebridge Mercantile, pack your blankets and lake gear, and spend the day enjoying a picnic on the shoreline.
