The bake shop got its start over 15 years ago when native Montanan, Christy Wich, moved back from Vermont with her husband, Jack. Jack's lifelong dream was to open a bakery, which they started using a commercial kitchen they added to their home.
Jack's bread began to sell like crazy at Missoula's Farmers Market, and the demand only increased over time.

Finally, after 13 years, the storefront opened. Jack and Christy, who have since added a daughter to their family, continue to own and operate the bake shop.
