Camping at one of Montana’s state parks is always an amazing experience, but as most Montanans know, it must be planned in advance. Here’s one outdoor adventure to add to your list for next year: Camping in a yurt. You can do just that at Big Arm State Park.
Big Arm State Park sits right on the shores of Flathead Lake -- specifically, Big Arm Bay.
The yurts have some insulation and electric heat, but you'll still feel the cold in the off season. If you book one before May or after September, you'll have to bring your own potable water.
You can rent a yurt for $50 per night or for $350 for the entire week.
You can already reserve your yurt for next spring on the Montana State Parks website.
If you’re interested in camping in a yurt at Big Arm State Park, you can reserve one here. Just make sure you spend plenty of time enjoying the clearest lake in Montana.
