Balloons Over Billings In Montana Will Light Up Your Summer

Summers in Montana fly by, so it’s important to slow down and enjoy them as much as possible. One perfect way to do that is to head to Billings for the annual Big Sky International Balloon Rendezvous, also known as Balloons Over Billings. This exciting event has been happening for decades, and everyone is gearing up for the best year yet.

Every July, hundreds of Montanan head to Billings to see the hot air balloons take flight.

The rendezvous is held at Amend Park, and thanks to some generous local sponsors, it's free.

The balloons are definitely the stars of the show here, but they'e not the only attraction.

Some of the hot air balloons come from Canada and even Europe.

When the balloons launch, it's truly a sight to behold.

The balloons, which range from classic to quirky, will be in the air for about an hour at a time.
