Once upon a time, in 2006, a brewer moved from Red Lodge to Billings and opened a brewpub in an old service station. Then, in 2011, they took over an old carriage station eight blocks away and opened a taproom. Since then, Angry Hank’s has become legendary, with many a Montanan walking through the doors and falling in love. Rest assured, the only thing that will make you angry here is the fact that you’ll eventually have to leave.

He wasn't a miserable person, just gruff - as the website puts it, he just had a gruff way of letting you know he cared.

The beer is distributed to bars and restaurants across south-central Montana, but there's nothing like drinking it from the source.

You can enjoy Anger Management Belgian Wheat, Head Trauma India Pale Ale, and Dog Slobber Brown Ale, just to name a few. They also sell swag, in case you love the place enough to wear a shirt.

Brewery hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday through Friday. It's also a cash-only business, so come prepared.
