Not only is Great Falls a fun destination, but it’s centrally located enough to be a perfect pit stop when you’re crossing the state. The Crystal Inn offers rooms for $97 (their non-refundable, online rate) that have everything you need for a comfortable stay.

4. Rent a Tipi in Glacier County and get away from it all.
Sometimes you just need a true escape from the world to check in with yourself or reconnect with your family. These tipis don’t have electricity or WiFi, allowing you the chance to get some peace and quiet for $40 a night.
Not only is this old hotel close to Miles City’s best attractions, but it’s on the list of National Registered Historic Places. You’ll love the unique lobby, Olive Dining Room, and affordable price tag (which varies but is usually well under $100 a night).
It isn’t easy to find an affordable bed and breakfast in Montana. And while the B&B experience is worth the splurge, it’s nice when you can get the best of both worlds (a great price and a great stay). Hickory House offers rooms for as low as $95 in the summertime and even less in the off-season.

"Glamping" is a fun way to enjoy the great outdoors and the camping experience while still enjoying the comforts of a hotel. It’s fun, but it can be extremely expensive—up to $300 a night in some areas. These glamping tents are $100 a night and are just as luxurious as some of the finer resorts in Montana. Plus, they’re five minutes from Canyon Ferry Lake and within walking distance of the Highlander Bar & Grill.
