Big Bear Resort is the perfect summer destination for those looking to go RV-ing. However, at this lake resort, you won't have to rough it.
If you don't have an RV, make reservations to stay in one of their eleven cozy cottages. Each cottage rental includes free use of the boat ramp, swim dock, resort pool, and includes 2 complimentary tickets per day to the waterslides. Many of the units feature a kitchenettes and multiple bedrooms to accommodate your family.
Kids absolutely love the huge watersides that splash into the multi-level pool. You can relax pool side and read a book while your kids keep themselves busy.
There are over 700 feet of slides at Bear Bottom Resort. Riders must be 36 inches or taller to ride the slides and admission is $10, if not included with your stay.
Even adults can get a kick out of slipping and sliding down into the pool below. The pool and slides are open from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m. daily, weather permitting.
Another awesome feature of the pool at Bear Bottom resort is the swim up bar. You'll feel like your on a tropical vacation while you sip cold cocktails pool side.
Bear Bottom even has an on-site restaurant. You can find all kinds of sandwiches and burgers on the menu. However, you'll find that the fully loaded nachos are hard to pass up.
