A warm weather day in Missouri offers so much promise – whether we want to spend it soaking up the sun on a sandy beach or we’re up for a trek along a tranquil hiking trail. The warm weather also provides an idyllic backdrop for a trip to Cedar Lake Cellars, a gorgeous waterfront winery that offers wine tastings, delicious food, and live entertainment on a regular basis.
Cedar Lake Cellars in Wright City makes an enchanting destination all year around. However, a warm Missouri day makes it simply magical, especially when you see the sunbeams bouncing off of the water the winery overlooks.
Tucked on 400 breathtaking acres and boasting two lakes, Cedar Lake Cellars is a must-visit for wine connoisseurs. The charming winery serves a generous selection of handcrafted wines.
The eclectic wine menu features homegrown wines and wines from Missouri and California. Sample, too, the wines offered from various corners of the world best known for their wine.
Sample some of the winery’s finest wines at the Dining Room and Tasting Bar. The selection of offerings is so generous that you can sample new wines on every visit. While you’re there, grab a bite to eat.
The winery, open only to those 21 and older, also features three other spots to grab a bite to eat. Dig into finger-licking good barbecue at The Smokehouse, which serves sandwiches and popular sides – potato salad and cornbread, for example.
A warm Missouri day is also perfect for a picnic, and you can grab everything you need for one at the Grab 'N Go Marketplace. Set up at a lakeside picnic table for a leisurely meal and wine tasting.
