Playgrounds used to be the source of so much joy for us when we were kids. But now, as we grow too old and big for them, they just don’t seem to have as much importance. However, City Museum has completely changed that by creating an interactive fun house for both children and adults to enjoy.
In 1997, City Museum opened its doors to the public. The 600,000 square-foot former International Shoe Company was turned into an artistic playground that drew in both the young and old.
To continue to marvel its guests, the museum is constantly being updated. In this photo, you'll see one artist painting the foot of a creature that will lead to the next slide.
If you're hungry, but don't want to leave the museum, don't sweat it. Just head over to Beatnik Bob's, the onsite cafe located at City Museum in the Museum of Mirth, Mystery and Mayhem.
