About 200 years ago, about a third of Missouri was prairie, but now less than one percent remains. Part of Prairie Garden Center's mission is to enhance the remaining natural areas for the public to experience.

Today, the area is home to home to pawpaw, sycamore, redbud and butternut trees and forms shallow pools from spring rainwater.

While here, walk towards the Valley Overlook for stunning views of the natural landscapes below.

However, I think I can speak for everyone when I say I'm pretty excited to see the garden center in bloom this spring.
I couldn’t believe my eyes when I first discovered this hidden gem in Missouri. Prairie Garden Trust is open to the public, but guests must schedule their visit beforehand. To schedule your visit, click here for more information on their website.
