There is something extra satisfying about good diner food. One Missouri diner has been serving quality food at quality prices since 1955. Locals were heartbroken when the diner closed its doors in late 2017. Luckily, one life long Eat-Rite fan purchased the iconic Route 66 diner and re-opened the doors, just in time for St. Louis Cardinals home games. Eat-Rite diner has been serving hungry Cardinals fans and rowdy folks from Soulard for decades. Late night meals at Eat-Rite became a tradition for many. So when the tiny restaurant shut its doors, locals wept.
Today, the restaurant has been refreshed and has been open for about a month. Eat-Rite's classic sliders are still the most popular menu item. However, their now made with fresh, never frozen, hand pattied beef.
Eat-RIte is still the premier destination for an authentic St. Louis slinger. The recipe remains the same, and it's still one item you must eat before you're a true St. Louisian.
Every morning fresh glazed donuts are brought into Eat Rite to create the World's Fair Burger. This unique burger is topped with provel cheese and bacon. The delicious donuts are used as buns. It's a one-of-a-kind eat!
