Every inch of this eclectic bar is covered in…something! There is beautiful mosaic work, custom neon signs, recycled items, toys, boats, taxidermy, and basically anything you could ever think of. Be sure to bring cash and prepare yourself for a trip down the rabbit hole.
Venice Cafe has been doing its own thing for almost 30 years. This Benton Park neighborhood bar is a hidden gem among the many St. Louis bars.
They have live music almost every night of the month! Venice Cafe was also voted Best Open Mic Night in 2014 by local voters. So if you're looking to hit the stage, you'll want to put them on your list.
People love the insanely eclectic decor. It's is always a work in progress so just one visit won't do. To really take it all in you'll need to visit again and again.
Summer is truly the cafe's time to shine. Their outdoor patio is huge and equally insane. It is by far one of the most beautiful patio's in all of St. Louis.
