If you’re in Columbia, Missouri there is one unassuming restaurant that you just have to check out. CJs in Tiger Country has been serving some of the best hot wings in the state since 1989! Every Mizzou fan knows that this spot is the best place to grab a cold beer, a plate of hot wings, and watch a Mizzou away game. You may find yourself walking right past the building but keep an eye out on Broadway for their iconic gold sign!
CJs in Tiger Country (CJs Wings for the locals) truly flies under the radar.
They have other items on the menu too, like burgers and sandwiches but honestly it's all about the wings. However, the curly fries are great and go really well with your wings and an ice cold beer.
They have five different sauces: butter (no spice), original (mild), hot, honey BBQ, and BYFO (burn your face off - very spicy). The BYFO sauce is their signature sauce and has a cult-like following at this point.
Once you find your favorite sauce, buy a bottle to take home.
