Craft beer is extremely popular in the Show Me State. Missouri has a long history of beer production especially from German settled towns along the rivers. Missouri’s oldest settlement, Ste. Genevieve, has become not only a top destination for wine lovers but has made a huge mark on the craft brewing world too! If you haven’t heard about the brewers from Ste. Genevieve then now is time to check them out!
Recently, the brewing company has opened a trap room and restaurant in St. Louis city. This awesome eatery is a great way to find out about Charleville without having to take the drive out to Ste. Genevieve.
All of their brews are made in-house state-of-the-art 15-barrel microbrewery. They have a few staple brews and ciders available year round but they also have many seasonal creations that are well worth the wait.
Best of all, they bottle and distribute their beers and ciders. Many Missourians can find a case of Crown Valley ales and ciders at their local liquor stores.
There are even more craft brewers working on tap rooms and microbreweries in the area. Keep an eye out for the Ste. Genevieve Brewing Co. as they continue to work on the renovation of the historic Ste. Genevieve Brewery building.
For more information on this up and coming brewery follow them on Facebook.
