Life can get noisy. Sometimes it’s hard to tune out that noise, so we can really kick back and relax. Packing the car and getting away from it all is, fortunately, not too difficult, especially with the many adorable and affordable cabins and tiny homes that dot the landscape – like this charming tiny house in Missouri.
Feel life's stressors simply melt away as you make the leisurely journey to itzawayback Dogwood Cabin, in Salem, an adorable tiny house that's really in the middle of nowhere.
You'll be so deep in the Ozarks, in fact, that you won't have cell service. (Don't worry; you'll still have WiFi, although it can be sporadic.) If you really want to disconnect, you've come to the right place.
The tiny cabin sleeps up to four guests in its cozy quarters, which includes one queen and one double bed. (However, it's more suitable for two guests.)
Be prepared for a rustic experience in the enchanting house that features a toilet but no running water. You do have a kitchenette complete with a microwave and a mini fridge.
While you'll be deep in rural Missouri, you'll also be staying on a working homestead. Don't be too surprised if you hear a dog barking during your stay.
If you're visiting during the winter, your best bet is to have all wheel or four wheel drive to make getting back to the cabin easier. (Wait until you see how pretty the landscape is sprinkled with snow.)
