2. Mark Twain Cave

Join an hour-long guided tour of what's billed as the "World Famous Mark Twain Cave" and "Missouri's oldest show cave." The massive cave boasts more than 250 passageways and inspired Twain's famous novel The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. The cave complex also features a winery and a campground. 3. Mark Twain Memorial Lighthouse

For some of the most gorgeous views of Hannibal, stop by the Mark Twain Memorial Lighthouse. You can access the lighthouse by climbing a set of 244 stairs or by parking near the top of the lighthouse, the latter of which is wheelchair-accessible. You cannot go in the lighthouse, which dates back to 1935. However, the views more than make up for that.
