With its generous selection of BBQ dishes and its old-school dining experience, The Pig BBQ in Fredericktown has been a neighborhood favorite since 1948.
Led by its faithful mascot Frederick the pig, the classic barbecue joint serves its famous food in a few ways - in its dining area, for take-out, or via carhop service.
First, however, you have to decide what to order from the generous menu. You can never go wrong with ribs, paired with such classic sides as baked beans and potato salad.
If you're really hungry, order the full rack of ribs. Then pair it with your favorite sides. The Pig BBQ dishes up such sides as fried green beans, coleslaw, and fried pickles.
