That time of the year is approaching, where children all over the world make their wish list to Santa. Who can forget the feeling of unwrapping a gift under the tree that holds the toy you’ve been wanting all year? It was a pretty magical experience and now you can take a trip down memory lane by visiting the World’s Largest Toy Museum in Branson.
The World's Largest Toy Museum has over 1 million toys on display that date as far back as the 1700s.
Toy cars, trains and planes are tucked away throughout the museum. It's interesting to see the evolution of automobiles, especially within the Tonka trucks section.
The cars aren't only for the kids. Check out this 1927 Cadillac. Truthfully, I'm just wondering how on earth they were able to get the car inside the museum!
If you were born after the 1990s, you may not recognize this toy. Although, there has been a resurgence of these characters in the 2016 DreamWorks animated film, "Trolls".
Clue, Risk and Monopoly are amongst the hundreds of board games you'll find in the game room. Feel free to explore them all and see what kept folks busy before Netflix arrived on the scene.
In addition to toys, the museum also features kiddie rides from the past. Check out this pony ride that was probably posted outside a convenience store to keep children busy while their parents shopped.
After you strike a pose, build your own unique lego structure or follow the included instructions. Did you know that as of 2015, 600 billion Lego parts have been produced?
With over 1 million toys, this list is just a small preview. Attached to the museum is the National BB Gun Museum. There's also a section dedicated to G.I. Joes!
