In fact, St. Louis came in at seven out of 35 cities, in a recent study released by QuoteWizard.com. Kansas City, on the other hand, sits on the 35th spot out of 40 for the worst driving cities in the United States. Here’s how QuoteWizard.com came up with its rankings.

QuoteWizard.com, a website that provides insurance quotes, first identified the 75 largest cities in the United States. Only St. Louis and Kansas City in Missouri made the cut.

Once QuoteWizard.com identified the largest cities, it then examined the insurance quotes for millions of drivers across the United States.

Insurance quotes were studied to determine which cities had the most incidents and which had the least. QuoteWizard.com looked at four criteria, or incidents, to rank the cities.
