With a population of just under 4,000, this small Missouri town is a nature lover’s dream come true. While it's quite relaxing, there are so many things to do in St. James, MO. If you love nature, your first stop should be Meramec Spring Park.
St. James Park is also worth a visit. Bring the whole family along, and spend the day hiking, fishing, and playing tennis. Tables make it easy to have a picnic, too.

Get to know St. James even better by biking or hiking along the 11-mile Forest City Trail that is particularly popular with mountain bikers.
Summertime visits mean packing up your swimming gear for a day of fun at Tiger Shark Waterpark. The waterpark features a pool, waterslides, and plenty of poolside chairs for sunbathing.
If you like sipping wine, you’ve definitely come to the right small town in Missouri. Sit back, relax, and sip wine at one of the town’s wineries, including Prairie Barn Winery & Christmas Tree Farm and St. James Winery.
