There is a private garden tucked away in central Missouri that you must see to believe. This stunning nature area will make you feel as though you’ve stepped into a fairytale. The Prairie Garden Trust is open to visitors from April through October and it’s a hiking opportunity you simply cannot miss. Make your reservation and enjoy everything this secret garden has to offer!
Few people realize that there is a stunning nature area in the heart of Missouri. The privately owned Prairie Garden Trust features woods, ponds, streams, rocky bluffs, rolling fields, and much more.
Stop at one of the overlooks and take in the beauty of your surroundings. One of the best parts of Prairie Garden Trust are the different landscapes that can all be seen in one location.
In addition to the flowering trees, there are many other flowers blooming throughout the park. You can see Bluebells, Violets, Spiderwort, Primrose, Violet Wood Sorrel and much more!
There are also many native animals that can be seen at Prairie Garden Trust. If you're an avid bird watcher, this is the place to visit! From Bullfrogs to Barn Owls you can see all kinds of Midwestern creatures in their native habitats.
Prairie Garden Trust is open to the public everyday by reservation. Admission is free but donations to the Trust are welcome. Donations are used to improve the lands for generations to come.
