Although most people who live outside of the Midwest think all Missourians live on farms, that statement just simply isn’t true. In fact, only 30% of Missourians live in rural areas. Many kids in the Show Me State have never actually been on a farm before. However, one farm themed park in Springfield is changing that for kids in the state’s third largest city. Even if you live on the other side of the state, this park is so charming it’s definitely worth visiting!
This charming farm in Springfield is actually a 207-acre park that helps educate residents about the area's agricultural heritage.
Throughout the year, the park hosts lots of events and festivals. One of the most popular events is the Harvest Festival in October. There are tons of activities for kids to enjoy!
Visit the park at 3825 W Farm Road 146,
Springfield. For more information about events and activities at Rutledge-Wilson Farm Park, visit their Facebook page here.
