Do you love sleepy little towns with a bit of history and a lot of charm? Then visit Savannah, just 20 minutes north of St. Joseph, for a nice trip to one of Missouri’s most peaceful towns. This small town has a gorgeous main street, good local restaurants, and tons of hometown pride that make it well worth a visit.
Savannah is a small town in northwestern Missouri. The town was established in 1841 and is the seat of Andrew County.
In addition to their beautiful and historic main street, you can visit the Andrew County Museum where you can see the exhibit titled - A Rural Way of Life. This award winning exhibit interprets the rich heritage of Andrew County from 1841 into the 21st century.
