Annual fairs and festivals also play a big role in our summers, and the Ozark Empire Fair in Missouri is no exception. It returns for its 85th year this summer.
Get ready for 10 days of good, old-fashioned summertime fun when The Ozark Empire Fair returns to Springfield from July 29 through August 7, 2021.
Bring along your sense of adventure and an appetite, because the annual fair boasts a full menu of activities and delicious fair food that’s just too good to pass by.
One of the highlights of the long-time festival is the Carnival Midway, where you’ll find a slew of rides and games. You can purchase tickets for your fun or an all-day wristband.
The fair will offer all of the traditional and delicious foods, like funnel cakes and corndogs, and it will host six restaurants, each of which features air conditioning and an impressive menu.
In addition to a daily parade, where you can show off your favorite car, the fair will also host “Life & Arts Competitive Exhibits.” Cooking contests, live demonstrations, and photo ops are all on the menu.
Consider wearing comfy shoes, because the fair will also feature a generous assortment of indoor and outdoor vendors as well as food vendors that will keep you stuffed all week long.
