Spring’s knocking on our door – or at least it will be soon. Before we know it, flowers will be blooming. Lush green leaves will grow on the trees, and the golden sun will be just a little bit warmer. If you’re aching for spring right now, however, look no further than this botanical garden that will host the prettiest orchid show in Missouri.
Shut the door on winter when you walk through the entrance at the Missouri Botanical Garden, in St. Louis, which is hosting its annual Orchid Show daily through March 22, 2020.
The Orchid Show boasts hundreds of beautiful orchids, which you can admire as you meander through the Orthwein Floral Display Hall that’s dotted with flowing fountains and an abundance of green.
For a truly unique experience in the orchid garden, visit on March 5, 2020 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sample drinks from local wineries, and listen to live music as you explore the Orchid Show during the evening.
The evening Orchid Show will also feature a cash bar and some snacks for purchase.
Tickets to the Orchid Show, which are in addition to the admission fee to the Missouri Botanical Garden, cost $5 per person for visitors who are three and older. If you’re a member of the garden, entrance is free. (Garden members’ children also get in free.)
