O'Fallon residents don't have to go too far to experience the arts. Every Tuesday in June, the city hosts free concerts in the park in addition to the Freedom and Heritage Fest which is held during the 4th of July weekend. O'Fallon Theaterworks annually puts on two major shows a year and art lovers can marvel at masterpieces in the Cultural Arts Center at the Renaud Spirit Center.

In terms of safety, O'Fallon ranked high against crime, scoring a 94.8. This may be due to the presence of police officers as well as the community's close ties with law enforcement. Each summer, the police department takes part in National Night Out, which is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships.
