As local travel experts, we know what travelers are looking for when it comes to finding the perfect accommodations for their next trip. To compile our lists, we scour the internet to find properties with excellent ratings and reviews, desirable amenities, nearby attractions, and that something special that makes a destination worthy of traveling for.
Missouri State Parks offer a lot of fun for families who love the outdoors but don’t love spending a ton of money. Accommodations throughout many of Missouri’s state parks are typically comprised of tent spots, RV spots, and the occasional cabin. Luckily, a few parks have just gotten brand new accommodations – modern and unique yurts! When you stay in these new yurts, you’ll experience the best of the great outdoors without all the horror stories of sleeping outside.
Table Rock State Park has over 350 acres to explore and almost endless outdoor activities to try! It's the perfect spot for a family vacation or a weekend of camping.
There are three main trail systems in the park. The trails range from an easy 1.5 miles to a tough 11.5 miles in length. Those interested in hiking won't run out of places to explore.
Table Rock is also a great place to take a dip. While there is no designated swimming beach, swimmers can jump in just about anywhere. Be sure to check your surroundings and never swim in the marina or boat launching areas.
After a long day of activities, you'll be so happy to come back to these luxurious yurts. Each yurt can accommodate up to 6 people, is available year round, is ADA accessible, and only costs $129 per night.
That price may seem high but with so many amenities, you certainly get your money's worth. Inside the yurt, you'll get heat and A/C, a full bathroom with a tub and shower, and TV with satellite.
The full kitchen will make preparing meals super easy! If you're looking to grill up your catches from a day of fishing, you can use the on-site grill for dinner.
You'll sleep comfortably in the queen size bed. There are also bunk beds for the kids and another large sofa bed if needed. You won't miss a single nights sleep on this camping trip.
Find Table Rock State Park at 5272 State Hwy. 165, Branson, MO 65616. To make a reservation, call the park office at 417-334-4704.
