Bennett Spring State Park was originally founded by pioneers who used the clear, rushing waters for gristmills.

Today, it has become a premiere destination in Missouri for trout fishing.

While it may be cold out, it's especially amazing to see how blue the water looks when the sun hits it just right against the barren trees.

However, when it warms up, it becomes a favorite destination among locals as a place to cool off in.

Or out-of-town visitors looking for a place to scuba dive.

In addition to its pristine waters, Bennett Springs also offers a pretty unique hiking experience.

If you have some time on your hands, hike the 7.5-mile Natural Tunnel trail.

No matter the time of year, Bennett Springs is a place of beauty that can be enjoyed by all.
