Start counting down the days, treasure hunters! We’re just a few weeks away from National Thrift Shop Day, and you’ll definitely want to celebrate, right? You’ll find plenty of thrift stores in Missouri, but the thrift and antique shops in one small town have planned a town-wide celebration, where you’re sure to find tons of amazing treasures.
Get ready for an epic day of treasure hunting in Mountain Grove on National Thrift Shop Day, planned for Saturday, August 17, 2019.
All eight of the thrift and antique stores in the charming town of Mountain Grove will participate in the daylong event that will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
You can pick up a map at any of the day's participating shops.

Thrift shops slated to participate include Mountain Grove Love Center Thrift Shop, Hill's Flea Market, Mutt & Jeff's, Lost Treasures, Wright County Crisis Center, and No Rhyme or Reason.
Wear your comfiest shoes for your day of treasure hunting because you have a lot of ground to cover. (Five of the participating shops span more than 3,000 square feet.)
Lost Treasures, for example, boasts a spectacular 10,000-square foot space, brimming with antiques and furniture. In fact, you'll have 25 dealer booths to browse, too.
